Phoenix Jailbreak is a new jailbreak tool released by well-known iOS hackers of Siguza and tihmstar on 06th August 2017. Other contributors are mbazaliy, Luca Todesco, and jk9357. Users can jailbreak all 32-bit devices running iOS 9.3.5 using this tool.

How to jailbreak iOS 9.3.5 using Phoenix

Currently Phœnix tool supports to Jailbreak iOS 9.3.5 only. This is semi-untethered jailbreak and this jailbreak gets disabled every time your device restarts. Users need to run Phoenix jailbreak app again to re-jailbreak the device.

It has two methods to complete the Phœnix jailbreak. One method is PC free Online jailbreak and other method asks PC support. Both methods install Cydia finally. But highly recommend to use online solution. Under the zJailbreak app store you can find Phoenix online jailbreak method.

Method 01- Phoenix Online Jailbreak (PC free method)

Step Guide :

Step 01 - Install zJailbreak application using following link

Step 02 - Open the zJailbreak and find the Phoenix app under jailbreak apps.

Step 03 - Click on “Install” to download the Phoenix Application to your device. Again tap on “Install” on popup message.

Step 04 - Verify the profile.
General --- > Settings --- > Profiles & Device Management --- > Trust the Enterprise App.

Step 05 - Run the Phoenix Application, which is installed on your device Home screen.

Step 06 - Click on the “Prepare For Jailbreak” ----> “Accept” to start the jailbreak. Ignore the Free apps installation message.

Step 07 - Tap on “Proceed With jailbreak”----> “Begin Installation” ----> Use provided Offsets

Step 08 - Now your device start to jailbreak, and it may take few minutes.

Step 09 -Ignore the Storage Almost Full message while installing Cydia.

Step 10 - When Jailbreak done, your device will restart and Cydia icon will be available on your device Home screen.

Method 02- Phoenix Jailbreak (PC Needed method)

Step Guide :

Step 01 - Download the Phoenix3.ipa and Cydia impactor using following link.

Visit this page from your Desktop device(Mac/Windows)
to installing the Phoenix3.ipa and Cydia impactor

Step 02 - Connect your device to the computer.

Step 03 - Open Cydia Impactor.

Step 04 - Drag and drop the Phoenix IPA file onto Cydia Impactor.

Step 05 - Enter your Apple ID and password sent to Apple to sign the IPA file. Then Cydia Impactor start to installing the jailbreak app.

Step 06 - Now Phoenix Jailbreak app installed to your device.

Step 07 - Now verify the Phoenix Jailbreak app you have to trust the profile.
General --- > Settings --- > Profiles & Device Management --- > Phoenix Jailbreak --- > Verify --- > Trust.

Step 08 - Now go back to the Home screen and open the Phoenix app.

Step 09 -Click on the “Prepare For Jailbreak” button to start the jailbreak.

Step 10 -Click on “Accept” and Dismiss the “Free Mixtape Available” popup message to avoid to install unwanted apps

Step 11 -Click on “Proceed With jailbreak”----> “Begin Installation”---->Use provided Offsets

Step 12 -Now jailbreak process begin and this process takes some time. “Storage Almost Full” message might pop up when installing Cydia. Click on “Done.”

Step 13 -Once jailbreak completes your device will reboot. Finally, Cydia icon should appear on your Home screen.

Note :-If Cydia is not there, repeat the above Jailbreak process until it works.

Phoenix iOS 11 Jailbreak

When compare iOS 11 jailbreak with Phoenix tool, it should be update the compatible devices to 64-bit because current release supported only for the 32-bit devices. As well 32- bit devices reject to install latest iOS versions. Currently there is no any official Jailbreak releases for iOS 11 onwards.However keen team demonstrated iOS 11.1.1 jailbreak at PoC 2017 as well as iOS 11 beta 2 and iOS 10.3.2 jailbreak at MOSEC 2017.
